摘要: Exposure to rare earth elements (REEs) is known impair intelligence in children and cause neurobehavioral abnormalities animals. However, the mechanisms underlying these phenomena are not clear. Lanthanum often used study effects of REEs. The aim this was investigate influence lanthanum chloride (LaCl3) on spatial learning memory a possible mechanism involving nuclear factor-kappa B (NF-κB) signalling pathway expression hippocampus. rats were exposed 0, 0.25, 0.50 or 1.00 % LaCl3 drinking water during pregnancy lactation (i.e. while feeding their offspring). After weaning, young continued receive for 1 month. exposure impaired significantly decreased phosphorylated IκB kinase complex, IκBα, NF-κB, c-fos, c-jun brain-derived neurotrophic factor These results indicate that impairs by inhibiting NF-κB pathway.
