摘要: The Munich Information Center for Protein Sequences (MIPS-GSF, Neuherberg, Germany) continues to provide genome-related information in a systematic way. MIPS supports both national and European sequencing functional analysis projects, develops maintains automatically generated manually annotated genome-specific databases, classification schemes the annotation of protein sequences, provides tools comprehensive sequences. This report updates on yeast genome (CYGD), Neurospora crassa (MNCDB), databases set genomes (PEDANT genomes), database human EST clusters (HIB), complete cDNAs from DHGP (German Human Genome Project), as well project specific GABI (Genome Analysis Plants) HNB (Helmholtz-Netzwerk Bioinformatik) networks. Arabidospsis thaliana (MATDB), mitochondrial proteins (MITOP) our contribution PIR International Sequence Database have been described elsewhere [Schoof et al. (2002) Nucleic Acids Res., 30, 91-93; Scharfe (2000) 28, 155-158; Barker (2001) 29, 29-32]. All described, provided detailed descriptions projects can be accessed through World Wide Web server (http://mips.gsf.de).
