摘要: South American waterweed, Elodea densa (Planch.) Casp., and Coontail Ceratophyllum demersum L., were studied for their potential to take up chromium zinc as a possible indicator of arsenic, cadmium, copper, lead pollution. Plants collected from the Willamette River in Oregon exposed 48 hours either or at 0.05 μg/ml, 0.1 μg/ml 1.0 μg/ml. Dried plant material was digested by using microwave acid digestion analyzed heavy metals an Induced Coupled Plasma Spectrometer (ICP). Both species showed uptake chromium. At μg/mI exposure highest concentration 2244.58 μg/g, 41.4975 μg/g. contained cadmium. The concentrations with copper 115.101 4.755 μg/g cadmium 0.805 pg/g.
