摘要: ABSTRACT Stereotypes, stereotyping, profiles, and profiling are complicated issues scientifically politically pose serious challenges for law enforcement (LE) officers. This article posits that stereotyping can be a legitimate tool if devoid of unlawful unethical bias. The authors promote new conceptual framework, through the introduction three models, which would permit rational de-stigmatized police stereotyping. To de-stigmatize some kinds under certain conditions bridges gap between concerns about inequality held by community leaders, politicians, scholars, realities good, proactive, “what works” policing in field.
