摘要: Homing pigeons are able to return their lofts after displacement unfamiliar sites hundreds of kilometres away. A map sense enables them determine location, and a hierarchy compass senses orient flight. Recent experiments implicate magnetic olfactory cues as the basis mysterious sense.
