摘要: This study used a standardized instrument, the Royal Free Interview for Religious and Spiritual Beliefs, to investigate spirituality of population people with dementia who scored 12 or more on Mini Mental State Examination their carers, were attending West Midlands Memory Clinic. Study patients likely be well preserved cognitively, female, living spouse at home, than clinic as whole. The was predominantly white British Christian. Both carers found acceptable: they rated beliefs strong considered practices associated very important. groups described evident in everyday experiences supportive relation life stresses. Service providers should integrate questions about faith into routine assessments structure care plans accommodate identified spiritual needs.
