摘要: Platelets play a critical role in both primary and secondary haemostasis. In haemostasis, specialised glycoprotein receptors enable platelets to adhere proteins that are exposed areas of vascular damage. The process adhesion, and/or the interaction soluble agonists with on platelet, activates platelets, which then able aggregate together. This aggregation creates platelet plug seals breach vessel wall prevents excess blood loss. Activated facilitate formation fibrin clot, by carrying coagulation factors providing catalytic surface for major interactions cascade. review briefly describes activation platelets; their clot retraction; how they may be inhibited order prevent thrombosis at-risk patients.
