摘要: We studied specific yeast communities vectored by beetles, drosophilids, and bees that visit ephemeral flowers, mostly in the genus Hibiscus families Convolvulaceae Cactaceae, Neotropical, Nearctic, Australian biogeographic regions. The consist of yeasts four clades centered around genera Metschnikowia, Kodamaea, Wickerhamiella, Starmerella. largest geographic discontinuity occurs as a function nitidulid beetle species dominate non-pollinator insect visitors flowers. This partitions New World, where dominant is Conotelus, from region, dominated Aethina. Distinct but sympatric insects may also carry radically different communities.
