摘要: Aneurysms of the infrarenal abdominal aorta involve 100–800% growth aortic tissue. While precise pathogenesis AAA is poorly understood, it should be expected that this change to structure wall will significantly impact its mechanical behavior. It only reasonable postulate a better understanding behavior tissue aid in our causes and assessing severity. Even for developing ways treat it—currently done with implants deployed surgically or endovascularly—understanding properties enhance ability design can stay place and/or protect aneurysm from blood pressure. This chapter review state literature on tissue, challenges faced, recent advances future directions.
