摘要: Multicast is an essential mechanism in ad hoc network application and many multicast protocols have been proposed. But most of them are network-layer require not only member nodes but also non-member on trees to maintain routing state, which makes complicated less scalable. To overcome this problem, application-layer multicast, or overlay In paper we propose a new protocol, called SSOM, for networks. Using the concept sectors, SSOM builds hierarchical tree two levels: high-level source-based sources low-level shared receivers. handles both dynamics group efficiently. Performance analyzed through simulation.
