摘要: Background . In the last decades we have seen a constant growth in fields of science related to use genome-based health information. However, there is gap between basic research and Public Health everyday practice. For successful introduction technologies policy actions on international level are needed. This work represents initial stage PHGEN II (Public Genomics European Network II) project. order prepare base for bridging genomics Health, an inventory study existing legislative dealing with controversies knowledge was conducted. The results mapping most least legislatively covered areas some preliminary conclusions about gaps. Design Methods collection evidence-based policies done through meta-level (international, general guidelines). expert opinion partners project required reflect grade collected evidence. Results. An analysis evidence made by area coverage: using list important into Wheel (originally developed Institute Medicine). Conclusions Severe inequalities coverage issues were found. attention paid clinical utility validity screening protection human subjects. Important such as trade agreements, literacy, insurance issues, behaviour modification response etc. less to. adoption new focus should be not only translation practice, but from bench back. Coherent consistent all aspects genome based information outmost importance.
