摘要: Relationship Between Destructive Leadership Behaviors and Employee Turnover by Craig M. Hyson MA, Centenary College, 2011 BA, 2009 Doctoral Study Submitted in Partial Fulfillment of the Requirements for Degree Doctor Business Administration Walden University September 2016 Abstract The loss 6 million U.S. manufacturing jobs since 2000 has severely affected communities that have lost a vital source employment. Voluntary employee turnover compounded problem. purpose this correlational study was to examine relationship between destructive leadership behaviors managers small medium enterprise (SME) businesses Warren County, New Jersey. constructive-destructive model formed theoretical framework study. A random sample 96 SME firm employees completed scale (DLS), multifactor questionnaire (MLQ), intention (TIS-6) via an online survey. Multiple linear regression analyses Pearson-product correlation coefficients were used predict turnover. Tyrannical laissez-faire only significant contributors model. Implications social change include providing business with information needed maintain or increase retention levels, which may improve morale, job satisfaction, enhance customer satisfaction served.The served.
