摘要: Background Conventional management for concussion involves prescribed rest and progressive return to activity. Recent evidence challenges this notion suggests that active approaches may be effective some patients. Previous consensus statements provide limited guidance regarding treatment. Objective To describe the current landscape of treatment summary agreements related assist clinicians in concussion. Methods On October 14 16, 2015, Targeted Evaluation Active Management (TEAM) Approaches Treating Concussion meeting was convened Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Thirty-seven experts from neuropsychology, neurology, neurosurgery, sports medicine, physical medicine rehabilitation, therapy, athletic training, research 12 individuals representing sport, military, public health organizations attended meeting. The 37 indicated their agreement on a series using an audience response system clicker device. Results A total 16 were supported covering (1) Summary Current Approach Concussion, (2) Heterogeneity Evolving Clinical Profiles (3) TEAM Treatment: Specific Strategies, (4) Future Directions: Call Research. Support (ie, agree or somewhat agree) ranged 97% 100%.
