摘要: We further extended the use of a microswitch-based program for assessing contingency awareness and promoting locomotion fluency five adolescents with Rett syndrome. A second goal was to evaluate effectiveness suitability rehabilitative intervention on participants’ indices happiness as outcome measure their quality life reduction stereotypic behaviors. Finally, social validation procedure involving 40 parents children severe developmental disabilities caregivers carried out. The study conducted according an ABABCBCB experimental sequence each participant, representing baselines, B indicating contingent closely linked adaptive responding, C reporting non-contingent control phase positive stimulation occurring throughout session, irrespective behavior. Results showed improved performance all participants during phases. phases revealed that acquired awareness. increased sign enhanced life. Both groups raters favorably scored such technology. Clinical, practical, psychological implications findings were discussed.
