摘要: Abstract Plane strain and plane stress solutions are obtained for the plastic yielding of a junction connecting two relatively massive blocks plastic-rigid metal. The work is part detailed analysis ( Green 1954a) Bowden - Tabor model sliding between unlubricated metals. aim this paper to estimate forces exerted through junctions during sliding. Various simple shapes considered effect weakness across centre discussed. theoretical modes deformation confirmed experimentally in various cases.
