A control system for a poundo yam flour processing plant

摘要: The use of control systems reduces the need for human involvement in food processing plants, stress production process, and makes more efficient cleaner. A system was designed a poundo yam plant using estimated time required by each machine sequence operation. flow chart developed to analyse study timing motion individual machines operation machines. C++ programming language used programme programmable logic controller. circuit electric motors, heaters fans plant. Evaluation shows that it spent per batch from 7 hours 5 19 minutes (24.05% reduction) increases efficiency 73.4% 84.90%. Human reduced 75% (from 8 steps just 2).
