摘要: Dopaminergic modulation affects odor detection thresholds and olfactory discrimination capabilities in rats. The authors show that dopamine D 2 receptor a manner similar to the of stimulus intensity. Performance simultaneous task was systematically altered by manipulations both odorant concentration activation (agonist quinpirole, 0.025-0.5 mg/kg; antagonist spiperone, 0.5 mg/kg). Rats' performance improved at higher concentrations. Blockade receptors equivalent increasing log units, whereas reduced dose-dependent manner. Bulbar release may serve gain control function system, optimizing its sensitivity changes chemosensory environment.
