摘要: Abstract Objectives The neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) is considered a systemic inflammatory marker and has been associated with poor prognosis in various cancer types. aim of this study was to assess whether lower NLR values are higher adductor pollicis muscle thickness (APMT) patients gastrointestinal tract cancer. Methods A cross-sectional assessed 99 digestive system cancers. Tumor stage analyzed by physician. Body mass index (BMI; kg/m2) calculated using the body weight (kg) divided height (m) squared; APMT (mm) skinfold caliper; handgrip strength dynamometer; calf circumference (cm) an inelastic tape; gait speed distance four meters walk (m/s); habitual food intake 24-h recall. Systemic inflammation measured NLR. ≥5.0 were high Results ≥ 5.0 group presented compared 0.05). Additionally, than Conclusions In cancer, negatively APMT.
