摘要: Abstract General equations are presented to describe multi-component adsorption from a finite bath onto adsorbent particles. External film resistance and diffusional within the particle both included. Transport can be by pore or solid diffusion both. Orthogonal collocation was used solve for two component uniform spherical particles cases of diffusion. In certain circumstances, concentration profiles show displacement effect. By superposition model predictions experimental results Balzli [18] estimates were made carbon one case studied, estimated values diffusivities less sensitive changes in initial concentrations than diffusivities.
