摘要: Abstract We have investigated temporal properties of photo-excited carriers in ultrapure diamond by the nanosecond cyclotron resonance (CR) method. The ramp time and amplitude CR signals are found to be dependent on incident laser pulse energy as well photon for excitation. dependences discussed based photoabsorption process due indirect excitons diamond, which is assisted absorption transverse-acoustic phonons. Similarities free-carrier generation via two-body excitonic collisions a dipole-forbidden direct gap semiconductor, Cu2O, pointed out.
