摘要: Composite materials offer significant advantages over conventional in certain automotive applications. For example, metal-matrix composite of SiC particles Al can be used to reduce the weight connecting rods and pistons, while maintaining required strength, resulting improved fuel economy. Polymer with glass fibers may advantageous substitutes for various automobile parts is an ongoing research activity industry. The potential widespread use a variety composites has focused attention on predicting their mechanical properties from knowledge constituents’ properties. What one would actually like predict average moduli; these are called effective moduli medium.
