摘要: Steam is utilized as a diluent in the regeneration of zinc-based hot gas desulfurization sorbents used fuel cleanup. Therefore, effect water vapor on interaction zinc sulfide (ZnS) with oxygen at 823, 873, and 923 K was studied using Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy. When ZnS 823 exposed to oxygen, sulfate (SO42-) most prominent species observed pressures greater than 5 × 10-2 Torr while sulfite (SO32-) major during exposures. an equimolar mixture were products but intensity peak more that sulfate.
