摘要: Censuses of breeding bird populations in Australia support the conclusion reached North American studies, that habitat diversity as measured by foliage profile is a good predictor species diversity. The data also indicate avifaunas forest and scrub habitats temperate zones America have equilibrium are probably saturated. Equilibrium or saturation levels appear to be independent histories ancestries concerned.
