摘要: The quadrupole mode and the retardation-broadened, wavelength-shifted dipole have been observed in extinction elastic-scattering spectra of two-dimensional arrays Au microstructures immersed air, water, toluene. electron-beam lithographically produced microstructures, resembling hemispheres with radius ~100 nm, were arranged a square lattice center-to-center separation 500 nm situated on 5-nm-thick layer Cr coated an optically flat quartz substrate.
