摘要: This paper presents the results of research ongoing at Cranfield University to establish useful tools for designers aid them in process sustainable design. Research completed as long ago 1999 [1] identified that be successful, design should considered earliest stages PDP, where brief is most flexible. Despite this, has shown many companies do not have appropriate mechanisms integrate early product development and there a lack tools. Many are available under general heading but recent analysis [2] these shows majority either focus on setting strategic direction or reflective such life cycle analysis. Both types development. developed greater understanding type criteria required tool order make it more industrial designers.
