摘要: We study both theoretically and experimentally the energy dependence of low-energy Rb+-Rb total collision rate k(ia) in range from 10(3) to 10(4) K. calculate integral elastic cross-section resonant charge-transfer by quantum mechanical molecular orbital close-coupling method, then obtain for temperatures averaging cross-sections over a Maxwell-Boltzmann velocity distribution. The experiments are conducted an ion-neutral hybrid trap, where Rb+ ions created photo-ionization cold atoms magneto-optic trap (MOT) accumulated linear Paul ion trap. ion-atom is measured monitoring fluorescence reduction steady-state MOT sequentially introducing collisions.
