摘要: This theory develops a quantum analog of the classical electron oscillator model. It argues first that Hamiltonian long-wave excitations matter is equivalent to an assembly oscillators under very general assumptions. Next, these are coupled with electromagnetic field and normal modes system analyzed. The longitudinal transverse excitation have different spectra; frequencies depend strongly on wavelength but ones do not. If "longitudinal photons" eliminated after transformation modes, resulting Coulomb law has dielectric constant in denominator. response expressed as series oscillations also terms Van Hove's correlation function. Born-approximation collisions fast charged particles mode (longitudinal transverse) yields same total cross section Fermi's macroscopic theory. include \ifmmode \check{C}\else \v{C}\fi{}erenkov radiation.
