摘要: Pleural ultrasonography (US) represents nowadays a useful diagnostic tool in the management of pleural diseases. Detection and evaluation effusions, pneumothorax pleural-based lesions can be performed with US, which has advantages wide availability, low cost, absence radiation exposure, portability. It is best method for guiding interventional procedures space. also limitations, due to interposition bony parts thorax, subcutaneous emphysema inability visualize mediastinal pleura.
