摘要: Since the recognition of name Frankia in Approved Lists bacterial names (1980), few amendments have been given to genus description. Successive editions Bergey’s Manual Systematics Archaea and Bacteria broadly conflicting suprageneric treatments without any advances for subgeneric classification. This review focuses on recent results from taxongenomics phenoarray approaches positioning structuring Frankia. Based phylogenomic analyses, should be considered single member family Frankiaceae within monophyletic order, Frankiales. A polyphasic strategy incorporating genome data omniLog® phenoarrays, together with classical approaches, has allowed designation an amended description a type strain species alni, at least 10 novel covering symbiotic non taxa genus. Genome phenome will shortly incorporated scheme proposing including those recalcitrant isolation axenic culture.
