摘要: The secondary structure of the portion transferrin receptor mRNA responsible for regulation transcript's half-life has been deduced by ribonuclease H cleavage directed antisense oligodeoxyribonucleotides as well with other ribonucleases sensitive to RNA structure. data indicate that both a synthetic 252-nucleotide and comparable 2.7-kb cellular contain three stem-loops referred iron-responsive elements (IREs). This appears be relatively static, little interconversion another possible having similar calculated free energy but involving longer-range base pairing. Deletion selected cytosine residue from each IRE loops shown yield an unregulated, unstable mRNA. altered similar, if not identical, is competent in regulation.
