摘要: The measurement of vibrational circular dichroism (VCD) below ∼600 cm-1 is one the experimental challenges current times. Polarization-division interferometry considered to be most efficient approach for realizing these measurements. A crucial component successful applications this beamsplitter, which divides incoming beam according polarization. Free-standing metal wires and deposited on a mylar substrate have been employed as beamsplitters, their performance has evaluated ∼700-10 region. VCD measurements obtained enantiomers α-pinene in 400-250 region are presented. status future developments needed routine far-infrared summarized.
