摘要: Gluten-sensitive enteropathy or, as it is more commonly called, celiac disease, an autoimmune inflammatory disease of the small intestine that precipitated by ingestion gluten, a component wheat protein, in genetically susceptible persons. Exclusion dietary gluten results healing mucosa, resolution malabsorptive state, and reversal most, if not all, effects disease. Recent studies United States suggest prevalence approximately one case per 250 manifests "silent" (i.e., minimal or no symptoms). Serologic tests for antibodies against endomysium, transglutaminase, gliadin identify most patients with testing should be considered who are at increased genetic risk gluten-sensitive family history personal type I diabetes) have chronic diarrhea, unexplained anemia, fatigue, weight loss. Early diagnosis management important to forestall serious consequences malabsorption, such osteoporosis anemia.
