摘要: The genus Lepisanthes belongs to one of the groups plant family Sapindaceae. A number species from this are widely used in traditional and folk medicine systems different parts world. amoena extract was obtained leaves by extracting methanol 95% ethanol solvent. highest yield found (8.75%). This study designed test antimicrobial potential (Sapindaceae) against selected oral skin pathogen, such as S treptococcus mutans, Candida albicans Propionium acnes . qualitative phytochemical analysis performed for detection alkaloids, terpenoids, steroids, flavonoids, saponin carbohydrate. activity were tested agar well diffusion method. Almost all extracts exhibited good inhibitory effect pathogens. expression level on growth organism reduced increasing concentration extract. exerted greater than corresponding at same concentrations zones inhibition produced organisms order:  > Streptococcus mutans albicans, while acnes. have been be effective pathogenic microorganisms involved infections. result justified use treatment diseases microbial origin herbal medicine.
