摘要: This paper discusses some of the practical aspects both reference body composition methods (densitometry, isotope dilution methods, in vivo neutron activation analysis, dual energy X-ray absorptiometry, computerized tomographic scanning and magnetic resonance imaging) bedsides or field techniques (weight height indices, skinfold thicknesses impedance/resistance, near infra-red interactance 24 hour creatinine excretion). Some measure gross composition, terms fat fat-free mass, components tissue, such as water, mineral protein, while other mass individual tissues, organs segments. The choice a specific method for particular study depends on various considerations including accuracy, precision, subject acceptability, convenience, cost, radiation exposure, need observer training. relative advantages disadvantages each are discussed with these mind.
