摘要: Objective This study aims to investigate the clinical relevance of confined placental mosaicism (CPM) detected at chorionic villous sampling (CVS) and identify risk factors for this condition. Method Women diagnosed with CPM between January 2005 December 2009 were identified. They matched women unremarkable CVS in a 1:2 ratio by period contacted phone interview. Results One hundred fifteen exposed 230 unexposed selected. Baseline characteristics did not differ groups apart from maternal body mass index, which is mildly higher group (+0.6kg/m 2 , p=0.047), age, type III (39.72.6 vs 37.13.2years, p=0.005). A frequency gestational hypertension was observed (10% 2%) (p=0.003). Small age newborns more frequent I (15% 5%, p=0.03). The incidence other main complications pregnancy (stillbirth, prematurity, preeclampsia diabetes mellitus) similar. Neonatal subsequent infant health development also differ. Conclusion diagnosis can be generally reassured regarding course development. © 2012 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
