摘要: Compression of the left renal vein (LRV) between superior mesenteric artery and aorta is thought to be a cause hematuria, periureteral gonadal varices, varicocele ("Nutcracker phenomenon"). Previous investigators have suggested that this diagnosis can made on computed tomography when LRV ratio greater than or equal 1.5 (the diameter proximal aorto-mesenteric angle divided by distal angle). This study was designed establish normal range for CT in children. The measured thirty-nine consecutive children undergoing intravenously enhanced abdomen. None had hematuria urinalysis immediately before after CT. Children with any known abnormality involving kidneys, adrenal glands, IVC, veins were excluded. patients ranged age from 3.4 18.5 years (mean = 10.6 years). 0.78 2.00 1.46; S.D. 0.312).
