摘要: Fluctuation patterns of insect species in the humid tropics are compared with those from temperate zone, using data on abundance covering a period at least 6 years. The stability set is characterized by Stability Index, which is, basically, mean variances abundances these species. Data Homoptera, Dictyoptera, Orthoptera and mosquitos Panama Canal Area information Europe, Australia Japan. It concluded that tropical insects, even ones relatively undisturbed forest, just as variable, or stable, ones. Some exceptional haibtats, such Schreierbach Austria, seem to be much more stable than any known
