摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter reviews a general stage model to reflect the various mental operations that comprise performance when subject is rapidly processing visually presented stimuli. The memory research based on paradigms substantially different from information research. Changes may occur with development, but crucial point changes are not under control of individual. Tasks tapping central processes display varying results. retarded perform similar equal-MA groups, indicating difference because developmental immaturity rather than low intelligence. Non-retarded individuals differential adjustments variables affecting or response manipulated. Several intelligence X treatment interactions observed in tasks disappear MA-matched controls employed. Others eliminated experimental for familiarity stimuli introduced. results suggest characterized by lag development certain structural defect their systems. differences lag.
