摘要: Adiponectin exerts beneficial effects by reducing inflammation and improving lipid metabolism insulin sensitivity. Although the adiponectin level is lower in obese individuals, whether weight gain reduces expression humans controversial. We sought to investigate role of gain, consequent changes leptin, on altering humans. Forty-four normal-weight healthy subjects were recruited (mean age 29 years; 14 women) randomized either 5% body 8 weeks overfeeding (n=34) or maintain (n=10). Modest 3.8±1.2 kg resulted increased (P=0.03), whereas maintenance no adiponectin. Further, correlated positively with leptin (P=0.0085). In-vitro experiments using differentiated human white preadipocytes showed that mRNA protein expression, a antagonist had opposite effects. To understand established obesity, we compared adipose tissue samples obtained from versus subjects. noted, first, activated cellular signaling pathways participants, but did not do so participants. Second, noted caveolin-1 which attenuates leptin-dependent increases individuals associated levels, correlate leptin. In vitro, induces attenuated expression. addition, shows impaired signaling. This signal impairment may prevent concordant levels despite their high Therefore, contribute low obesity provide target for increasing hence sensitivity cardio-metabolic profile obesity.
