Psychometric Properties of The Fertility Quality of Life Instrument in Infertile Iranian Women.

摘要: BACKGROUND Infertility and its treatment can have a considerable effect on person's quality of life (QoL). The Fertility QoL (FertiQoL) questionnaire is currently the most frequently used instrument to measure in people with fertility problems. This study aims examine reliability validity FertiQoL infertile Iranian women. MATERIALS AND METHODS cross-sectional included 155 women problems referral clinic Tehran, Iran from January March 2014. A battery instruments was used: FertiQoL, Satisfaction Life Scale (SWLS), Hospital Anxiety Depression (HADS), demographic questionnaire. Construct scale evaluated using confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). We assessed internal consistency Cronbach's alpha convergent examined by correlating SWLS HADS. RESULTS results CFA generally supported four-factor model Core two-factor Treatment FertiQoL. Both modules their subscales revealed acceptable that ranged 0.643 0.911. However, might be improved if Q15 T2 items were removed scale. These had low loadings Relational Environment factors which decreased consistency. significantly correlated both HADS, confirmed validity. CONCLUSION Persian version valid, reliable seems perform as well original English Version.
