摘要: Sorghum ( bicolor L. Moench) production is mainly constrained by soil water and nutrient deficits in northern Ethiopia. The aim of this research was to evaluate the effects tillage fertilizer practices on productivity two sorghum varieties Abergelle area, experimental design split-plot design. main-plot treatments included five practices. These were shilshalo (traditional ridge without ties) for broadcasted planting (SBP), tied-ridging at (TR0WAP), four weeks after (TR4WAP), zero (ZT), row (SRP). Two rates nitrogen (N) phosphorus (P), as0-0 N-P ha -1 (without fertilizer, F1) 32-10 kg (with F2) treatments, used sub-plots. local i.e., Woitoziraand Chibal (Sorghum tested years (2002-2003). pooled yearly-basis data analysis showed that main interaction treatment significantly (P ≤ 0.05) influenced yield components both varieties. This study also demonstrated increment 7 48% due effect TR0WAP with F2 as compared other F2. However, higher Chibalas Woitozira . mean crop 1.45 t Woitozirawas 1.31t Thus, suitable time integrated proper rate should be adopted effective increase semi-arid areas Ethiopia such area.
