摘要: A process for producing thermally expanded microspheres, comprising the step of providing a gaseous fluid carrying expandable microspheres 1 to 100 μm average particle diameter composed an outer shell thermoplastic resin and, enclosed therein, blowing agent having boiling point not higher than softening resin, passing through gas introduction pipe fitted at its outlet with dispersion nozzle and disposed inside hot air stream, emitting jet from nozzle; causing collide collision board lower part so as disperse in stream; heating dispersed expansion initiation temperature or stream thereby attain expansion. In this process, change variation coefficient size distribution brought about by is trivial. Further, amount raw material slightly less, agglomeration suppressed.
