摘要: Abstract The production of monohapoid Solanum tubersum embryoids and plantlets with 2n = 12 chromosomes from microspores cultured within anthers, is reported. By selecting the precise developmental stage by modifying culture media, it was possible to achieve microspore embryogenesis in 35% plated anthers. Potato extract found be beneficial, but response could obtained even Murashige Skoog [1] medium. For maximum response, presence 6% sucrose, 0.5% activated charcoal 4 × 10 −6 M 6-benzylaminopurine (BAP) necessary. cytological examination young root tips developed plants revealed monohaploids as well dihaploids.
