摘要: Using ab initio calculations we computed the ultrafast demagnetization that can be achieved by Elliott-Yafet electron-phonon spin-flip scatterings in laser-excited ferromagnets. Our show nonequilibrium laser-created distributions contribute mostly to demagnetization. Nonetheless, total contribution is too small account for fs-demagnetization.
