摘要: This study suggests the equimolar mixture of Natural Gas (100% CH4) and Synthesis (40% H2 + 40% CO 20% CO2) as an alternative to reduce hydrocarbons consumption pollutant emissions. As a key parameter characterize this combustible mixture, laminar burning velocity was studied based on numerical simulations experimental measurements in fl ames generated using contoured slot-type nozzle burner Schlieren technique, varying air-fuel ratio at standard temperature pressure. It found that ame speed increases with respect pure methane. behavior can be explained by presence hydrogen fuel which has direct effect combustion kinetics, generating H OH radicals increase global reaction rate consequently velocity.
