It has been used preserve food or improve its taste, such as in tea preparation herb oils, butters vinegars. The present study aimed verify leishmanicidal trypanocidal potential well essential oil cytotoxicity, vitro . R. Lamiaceae presented α-pynene (10.71%), Camphor (11.81%), 1, 8 Cienole (32.90%) β-caryophyllene (17.77%) major compounds. oil’s cytotoxic activity was low concentrations those: 125 μg/mL 62.5 μg/mL. Anti-trypanosome anti-promastigote were respectively ˃125 μg/mL ˃62.5 μg/mL, thus being considered clinically relevant. therefore concluded that presents a compound with remarkable antiparasitic activity.
