摘要: Currently, pancreatic cancer is the fourth leading cause of cancer-associated deaths in United States and ranks ninth its incidence. Increased mortality from this tumor results multiple factors including detection at advanced stages, aggressive biology, relative resistance to available therapy. It reported that resection early (size<3.0cm) organ-confined tumors provide significantly improved patient survival comparison large tumors.1 is, therefore, important detect these early. Imaging studies (percutaneous ultrasound CT scan) have provided a valuable support for long time. Endoscopic (EUS) relatively new imaging modality be superior both scans MRI detecting lesions, especially when lesions are smaller than 3.0 cm.2
