Psychiatric Disorders and Cardiovascular Diseases During the Diagnostic Workup of Suspected Prostate Cancer.

摘要: Background: It is unknown whether the rate of psychiatric disorders and cardiovascular disease increases during diagnostic workup suspected prostate cancer.Methods: We designed a population-based cohort study including 579 992 men living 2005-2014 in Skane, Sweden, according to Swedish Total Population Register Skane Healthcare (SHR). used Cancer SHR identify all with new diagnosis cancer (N = 10 996), underwent biopsy without receiving (biopsy group, N 20 482) as exposed workup. Using Poisson regression, we compared rates period before or corresponding unexposed men.Results: found an increased among (incidence ratio [IRR] 1.87, 95% confidence interval [CI] 1.67 2.10) group (IRR 2.22, CI 2.08 2.37).
