摘要: We have screened an adult rat cerebellar cDNA library in search of novel protein tyrosine-kinase (PTK) cDNAs. A for a putative PTK, trkB, was cloned, and its sequence indicates that it is likely to be derived from gene ligand-regulated receptor closely related the human trk oncogene. Northern (RNA) analysis showed trkB expressed predominantly brain expresses multiple mRNAs, ranging 0.7 9 kb. Hybridization cerebral mRNAs with variety probes there are encoding truncated receptors. Two additional types were isolated, their sequences predicted encode two distinct C-terminally receptors which complete extracellular region transmembrane domain, but differ short cytoplasmic tails.
