摘要: Mensah BA, Kyerematen R, Annang T. 2018. Influence of human activity on diversity and abundance insects in three wetland environments Ghana. Bonorowo Wetlands 2: 33-41. The Wetland environment is unique with biota that includes insects. Insects serve as indicators environmental health, nevertheless, the recent spate encroachment wetlands likely to affect its biotic composition, this phenomenon poses a threat environment. physical chemical quality studied habitats research provided background information for comparison against established standard study involved reconnaissance surveys, insect trapping social surveys impact anthropogenic activities around Twenty-two orders belonging 112 families were sampled from different sites along Sakumono, Kpeshie, Muni-Pomadze wetlands. Species significantly among various locations most diverse being Kpeshie. Water within Kpeshie was polluted although it had positive correlation abundance. Results survey selected communities showed majority residents low level education less appreciation issues involving including pollution. Majority people surveyed unable access decent toilet facilities publicly demarcated waste disposal sites. There no coordinated concerted effort manage these two which are designated Ramsar Activities such farming, discharge domestic garbage, improper fishing practices, industrial increasing pollution risk environments.
